Luke Basso, third year University of Oregon long snapper shares his story as an athlete that has pushed through an unfathomable amount of loss- five friends in five years. This story is a loaded one, and I am thankful for Luke and his strength to talk about something so tragic and personal. 


One of the five members lost was one of my best friends, Barrett Bevacqua. This video is dedicated to him and his loved ones.


I was lucky enough to shoot the University of Oregon vs. University of Southern California game as a part of this feature story, and I felt Bear on the field with me that night. I hope this has as much of an impact on you as much as it has on me, and let it be a reminder to tell the people in your life how much they mean to you.

MORE THAN GLASS

I was lucky enough to finally circle back to an old project from May 2022 this past fall. I took a 1 minute long short film that I had previously produced and went through old footage and interviews to create a long-form video for my internship with the Daily Emerald. 


Jonathan Killman has had quite a compelling journey after surviving a gas explosion where he suffered serious injuries, and after intensive physical therapy was able to use his hands again.
